Description - Description: The MCT has three sources of water supply, specifically the resources from the Taibilla River, a tributary of the Segura, those from the Tajo-Segura transfer and those from desalination, the latter from both its own desalination plants a nd the equipment available from the ACUAMED desalination plants in Torrevieja, Valdelentisco and Águilas.The MCT is part of the agreement for the use of the Valdelentisco desalination plant, and has a commitment to acquire 13 hm³ per year.
