Description - Scope : construction of an Information & Communication Technology (ICT) building, and a Student Affairs building at the University of Benin in Edo State.ASR Africa Initiative is the brainchild of Abdul Samad Rabiu, Founder and Chairman of BUA Group. The grant for the hub on the University of Benin campus is from the ASR Fund for Social Development and Renewal.The ceremony was by The Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa) to fulfill the N1 billion (US$2.2 million) tertiary infrastructure grant awarded to the University in June 2021 as part of the ASR Africa Tertiary Education Grants Scheme. The grant came from ASR Africa’s US$100 million Fund for Social Development and Renewal.
